Dry skin, or xerosis, is a skin type usually marked by firm texture and parched skin. This type is especially noticeable during winter, when one turns to indoor heaters due to the cold weather and dry air or low humidity. Signs of dry skin usually appear as pink spots on the face, arms and legs. These small spots can grow into painful patches that later flake and become itchy if left untreated. The shin and the abdomen, particularly the sides, are also frequent dry spots. Eczema and other types of dermatitis could also emerge without the appropriate treatment. The condition may also be genetically inherited. The normal skin changes accompanying aging also tend to make elderly people have dry skin problems. 1. Moisturize Regularly The irritation and dryness can be relieved by using a moisturizing cleanser and the frequent application of oil-based lotions or creams, particularly before the affected individual sleeps. Experts also suggest less and shorter baths and showers of about 5-10 minutes to maintain skin hydration. Lukewarm water is also considered more beneficial than hot water baths and showers. Mild soaps are also preferred for the face, along with moisturizing lotions for the whole body following a bath and prior to bedtime. Rehydration will also benefit from high levels of water and fruit consumption. 2. Skin Disorders Scaling or flaking skin can be syptomatic of dermatitis. One type is seborrheic dermatits, which is characterized by red, itchy rashes on diferent body parts, particularly areas with many oil glands. This scaly rash can be found on the nose, the scalp and eyebrows. Another type is allergic contact dermatitis, which is the result of an immune reaction in contact between the skin and poison ivy or similar substances. Some individuals also experience eczema, or atopic dermatitis, if it is common in the family; or athlete's foot, a fungal infection affecting soles of the feet. 3. Cleanse Your Skin A key factor in basic skin care is knowing one's skin type, as this will determine the approach and the products one will use. Individuals will have either dry, normal/combination, sensitive or oily skin. A basic skin care routine will always include cleansing. Since skin types vary across individuals, people should look for a cleanser that their skin responds to. Most experts discourage the use of soap to cleanse the face, with some specifying soap only for cleansing from the neck to the feet. Cleansers are made up of water, oil and surfactants that combine to dissolve facial oil and dirt, remove makeup and wash all these excesses away from the face. Care should be taken to use only the appropriate mix to avoid clogging skin pores or drying the skin. 4. Exfoliate, Exfoliate, Exfoliate Many experts advise the routine at night, with only lukewarm water used to wash the face in the morning. However, use of a moisturizer before bedtime will make cleansing also necessary in the morning. Individuals are advised to use warm water to start washing, as this would unclog pores and loosen dirt. After a cleanser is used, rinsing off using cool water will tighten or close the pores. Exfoliating is another step many specialists advise to treat or prevent dry skin. Stanford University clinical assistant professor Katie Rodan advises that individuals exfoliate on a daily basis. This will augment natural replenishment of the skin - the removal of dead skin cells to give way to new cells - and improve moisture retention, giving one fresher and younger-looking skin. Individuals with dry or sensitive skin should exfoliate up to two times a week, and increase the frequency during the summer and hot months, when sweat makes dead skin cells stick together and delays their removal. For those with sun-damaged skin, hydroxies may have to be used as deep exfoliants. Toners are not requirement, as the removal of dirt, makeup and oil can already be done using a cleanser. 5. Sun Damage Moisturizers and sunscreens are also crucial parts of a regular skin care routine. Some experts advise separate moisturizers for night and daytime, when the product should ideally offer UV protection. Sunscreens should not be applied with moisturizers at night, as this could actually worsen dry skin conditions. A good sunscreen should have zinc oxide, titanium dioxide or avobenzene as an active ingredient. In addition to dry skin prevention, the following tips can be adopted by individuals at home to address the condition: - Applying petroleum jelly and wearing cotton gloves prior to sleeping works well for individuals with extremely dry hands - Lotions can also be used on nails if they pose problems of brittleness and dryness - To prevent scratching itchy, dry skin, one can try oatmeal baths, a nonprescription treatment such as 1% hyrocortisone cream, and using gloves or keeping nails short

New age spirituality morning has been all night coming part 29
Here I was, putting the cart before the horse, or to put it another way, thinking that it was the tail wagging the dog. I began to remember some of the simple rules of life that Gideon had taught me: live one day at a time; do the best with what you have; love and help one another. In the process of remembering these truths I became extremely elated. The joy of these recollections generated considerable excitement in my mind, and before I knew it, everything seemed well with the world. It was as if I had just taken off dark sunglasses and was finally able to see clearly. I had been living in the past, but had not actually been brilliantly alive in the present. I continued my walk, noticing things that I hadn’t noticed before. The trees seemed to be more alive, the flowers more beautiful, and I was aware of butterflies floating gently around me. A passing motorist waved and smiled. I picked up a pinecone and tossed it with unbounded pleasure at a lamppost — something I hadn’t done in years. I felt vibrant, alive, and at one with the world. I reached the point where I usually would have turned around to walk back home. I stood there for a moment and looked up at the sky. How blue and beautiful, I observed, with clouds chasing one another across the span. The wind ran races through the growing grass, and way off in the distance I could hear a dog barking. There I was, in the center of a whole new world that was not really new at all. I looked at my hands and feet, felt the sweat on my brow and realized that all my physical being was just a part of the universal scheme of things. There was order in the world and order in the universe, and even though at times the order might be disguised by the pressures of everyday living, it was there — gloriously — every moment of our lives. Online stock market trading 3 insider strategies
Every single person who invests in online stock market trading has making profit as a goal. In fact, making money circulate on the stock market trading has become one of the most popular ways of extracting financial benefits from your revenues. According to experts in the field, some strategies are more profitable than others, so take a look at our recommendations for 2007. 1. Stay with the trend One of the proven strategies in online stock market trading is being consistent with the general trend. Over the years, stock market trading has reached a value of its own, which can and should be taken into consideration when making an investment. Going with the trend thus is usually a surefire strategy, all the more as you can take advantage of finding all types of instructive materials on the matter. By constantly observing the performance of the online stock market trading you will notice the performance of key companies. Moreover, sticking to the trend is a quite comfortable and easy to follow option, as the great majority of investment companies offer their virtual investors reports and descriptions to help them make profitable choices. 2. Choose your tips wisely If you do decide, however, that you want to follow a “hot” suggestion, make sure it comes from someone who is trustworthy and reliable. You must be careful, shrewd and wise if you want to act in a risky direction. This means that you are supposed to give instant trust to a “good old pal” who out of the blue gives you a great tip. If you want to succeed in online stock market trading, you must be well educated enough to do your own research when it comes to targeting the tip you were offered or otherwise request the advice of a stockbroker. 3. Ask for professional help This is one of the wisest stratagems you can use. Stockbrokers working in online stock market trading are usually certified and skilled in their field, so that you can easily take advantage of your capital investing by employing them. However, their expertise is rarely, if ever, free of charge. Basically, the brokers’ involvement in stock market trading is only for their clients, so making use of their full comprehension to bring them profit does come at a price. If you don’t find the commission appropriate, though, there are plenty of other possibilities to choose from, especially as you get more experienced and able to supervise your own transactions. Deciding if you are ready for a home theater system
Do you think you are ready to purchase a home theater system? Have you done research to determine which television is best for your room or which sound system is best for the layout and decor or your home theater? If you have not, then you are not ready to purchase your home theater yet. Spend some time in the rooms of your house that you are considering for your home theater. If you are building a new room for the home theater, make sure you know a lot about the room before making any purchases. Ask yourself if this room is going to be used solely for the home theater or if it is going to be a multi-purpose room that will be used for many other things as well. Take measurements of the room and heed the warnings of other home theater owners and gurus regarding size constraints on televisions as well as furnishings. You don't want to sit three feet away from a 54 inch television, and you don't want to sit 22 feet away from a 13 inch television. Keep measurements in mind for sound quality as well as picture. You want to make sure that before you make any purchases, you know how many items you will be connecting and how many feet of speaker wire and connecting cables you will need. It is important to keep screen reflection to a minimum in your new home theater, and this can be done with optimal placement of all furnishings in the theater. Also keep in mind that sound quality is greatly lessened when it bounces off of bare walls and windows, so include some draperies and accents to help absorb sound. Before the initial purchase, decide what the main focus of your new home theater will be. For most people it will be the television watching, but for some it will be listening to music. Determining what aspect is most important will help you to determine where you want to spend the bulk of your money. Play around online with the retail stores and on forums and chat rooms as well as blogs to find out what people are saying about the components that interest you. Go to the local electronics store and spend some time looking around and asking lots of questions. Ask friends and family who have had experience with home theaters to give you their honest opinion and what they have learned from their home theater. Do all of these things before you buy any single piece of equipment. Revisit any lists or notes that you have made prior to making any purchases. Make sure that you have not missed some vital point that someone made regarding the system that interests you. If you are able, spend lots of time in a friend or family member's home theater and determine what you like and dislike about theirs and what you would change in your own. It all boils down to research. Before you make this major purchase and change to your home, do the research. By checking things out thoroughly before you buy them, you will save yourself a major headache in the long run.
Buying a vacation home overseas
With the British and American economies in quite a strong position many more Americans are considering putting some of their hard earned cash into buying a vacation home overseas and apparently one in three Britons has their sights set on buying a holiday home in the sun. If you dream of owning a sunny villa in Italy, a cottage in Scotland or maybe a beachside apartment in the Caribbean, here are five essential tips to consider when looking for real estate overseas. 1) Research Your Location You may already have a favourite destination in mind and be visualising your life lazing by a swimming pool overlooking the Mediterranean Sea…on the other hand you may be interested in shopping around to find the best countries in which to buy a vacation home and make an investment into property. It’s wise to do a fair amount of research into any new destination and cover everything from foreign ownership of real estate rules, property taxes, the political and economic stability of a destination and also the investment potential a given country offers. With this information in hand it will be easier to make the right decision about which location suits your lifestyle objectives, budget and long term investment plans. 2) Employ Assistance Finding a realtor able to assist with your search for the perfect vacation home could save you time, effort and even money in the long run – although most realtors take commission from any sales they make of course! But a local agent will understand the dynamics of their property market and be able to quickly and efficiently track down real estate bargains that match your vision for your vacation home overseas. Be aware that in some countries real estate agents neither have to be licensed nor qualified however and so take a recommendation if at all possible and tread carefully. 3) Manage your Money If you need to raise a mortgage to pay for your vacation home you may need to re-mortgage your home or raise finance in your home country to fund the purchase because in many countries it is difficult for non-residents to get a mortgage and in some of the emerging property markets around the world there is no possibility to get a mortgage. When transferring money overseas beware of fluctuating exchange rates that can devalue your lump sum significantly and make the difference between you affording your dream home and affording a poor second best. There are professional companies available who can help those buying property abroad to deal with fluctuating currencies…look into your options. 4) Title Deeds and Legalities Legal systems vary from country to country as does the land registry system, and in some countries title deed transfers are not registered at all which can make it difficult to prove who owns property. Make yourself aware of the legal rights that you will have as a property owner in a given country and find out about any assurances you can get that you own the freehold title to the vacation home that you have bought. Never buy real estate overseas without the aid of a good lawyer, check their credentials and ensure that any contracts or agreements you sign are translated into your mother tongue and that you check the wording carefully before you sign! 5) Protect Your Assets Once you make the transition from house seeker to vacation home owner you will want to keep your real estate assets well looked after. If you are only going to be vacationing in your home overseas occasionally consider having a management company look after your home when you are away. Ensure a property that is to be left for periods of time is well secured because even in countries where there is very low crime a beautiful home left standing empty can become a temptation. Get insurance to cover the value of your home and contents and make sure someone regularly checks that your property is in good order, that the weeds are not growing over your veranda and that your swimming pool is clean and ready for when you next take a holiday in the sun.
Microdermabrasion skin improvement technologies
Microdermabrasion is a ventilation technique for the skin that helps repair facial tissue that has perhaps taken a beating from the sun and other effects of aging. A plastic surgeon will perform this technique and will use a device that is not unlike a fine sandblaster to spray tiny crystals over the face. They will then mix gentle abrasion with suction to remove the dead and outer layer of skin. As with other skin renewal procedures, more than one session may be required in order to reduce and remove fine wrinkles and/or unwanted pigmentation. Microdermabrasion is a good choice for skin improvement technologies because there are virtually no side effects. The benefits however, include the following: it gives the skin an overall fresh and healthy-looking glow, it is non surgical which means it is a safe, effective and quick procedure. Microdermabrasion is effective on all skin colors and types, and there is no anesthetic required. It is also ]excellent for skin that may be sensitive to other chemical procedures because this is such a gentle technique. Unlike with complicated cosmetic surgeries, there is no “rest” period involved, therefore normal activities can begin at once. There are several things that you should consider before going ahead with this procedure however. It might be cost consuming since you will most likely need multiple sessions in order to see results and to maintenance them. The best results occur on patients with pale or fair skin tone will show best results, so if you are darker in pigmentation, you should consult with a professional first. As well as these important considerations, after the treatment, your Doctor or Surgeon might want to recommend an individualized skin care program in order to maximize results, which might prove to be costly or not time efficient enough for your lifestyle. If you do decide that Microdermabrasion is right for you, congratulations. There are many skin problems that this procedure can help, reduce or cure such as signs of prematurely aging skin including fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, acne, acne scarring, and enlarged pores. Microdermabrasion gets rid of dull, lackluster skin which gives you a more youthful appearance. Some people should not use Microdermabrasion process so make sure you let your doctor know if you have or have had in the past any of the following conditions. Undiagnosed lesions, herpes outbreaks, warts, stage 3 or 4 acne, rosacea, unstable diabetes, or any autoimmune disorders.
Oil production may be at its peak experts say
Anyone who has recently visited a gas station has felt the pinch of the impending oil crisis by having to pay more than $3 per gallon for gas. While most people understand that we are facing a worldwide shortage of one of our most precious commodities, the reasons behind the deficiency remain somewhat vague. According to Mammoth Resource Partners, Inc., a Kentucky-based oil and gas exploration company, major media coverage has largely ignored the underlying reasons for the relentless march toward ever-higher oil and natural gas prices. Experts report that the reasons are rooted not only in Middle East chaos and Asia's booming economies, but they also predict that it's in the possibility that the world's oil production may be peaking. By definition, peak oil is the name geologists have given to a proven fact of oil exploration and development: When half of an oil field's reserves have been extracted, the field will begin to progressively yield less oil with every passing year until it yields zero. "As peak is approached, what is left in the major fields is becoming harder to extract, reducing the growth of oil supply, thus increasing its price," said Dr. Roger L. Cory, President of Mammoth Resource Partners, Inc. In short, the world has been consuming more oil while it has been drilling and extracting about the same amount of oil. These two trends cannot continue without some long-lasting effects. "The supply and demand lines are crossing, leading to huge increases in the price of oil and oil-related petroleum products," Cory predicts. Cory said there will always be oil in the ground, but the questions that producers need to ask themselves are, how hard will it be to get out, and thus how much will it cost? And how high will the going rate per barrel have to be to make it worth my while? "We have recently seen crude sold for more than $70 per barrel. Is this a temporary price spike, or part of a major, permanent upward price trend?" Cory said. "It's anyone's guess how high the price of crude will go, but triple digits per barrel certainly do not seem out of the question."
How being narcoleptic is not funny
Copyright 2006 Eva Moffat I keep falling asleep, even first thing in the morning after eight hours sleep the night before. Being a perpetual student, I’m always trying to learn something, but the minute I pick up a book to start reading / studying, I go to sleep. Also I enjoy going to meetings / seminars / workshops, like the dormouse in Alice in Wonderland I sleep right through them. Sometimes this can be quite hilarious, especially if I’m at a meeting. I don’t know how it happens, but I will wake up long enough to come out with a relevant suggestion, then I go back to sleep. But I can assure you that whatever is wrong with me it’s not contagious. You can’t catch it off me, even if I breathe on you. I know now I have Narcolepsy. Yet I had it for twenty-years before I knew what I had. Narcolepsy is not an illness. It’s not a disease, I won’t die from it, unless I fall asleep while crossing the road; no it’s a condition that I have to live with for the rest of my life. How long have I had it? About 45 years. It was just after my younger daughter Susanne was born, about 1962, that I found myself having to have an afternoon nap along with my two daughters. But with having a two year old and a newborn baby, plus a husband and house to look after, it wasn’t surprising that I was tired. So life went on. I used to read to the girls at bedtime. Problem was that I would fall asleep midsentence. Michelle my eldest daughter would wake me up shouting, ‘What happened next mum?’ When the children were in double figures I started work again. But because of my falling asleep on the job, I kept having to look for new jobs. My CV’s had to have a few porkies in them. Then in 1971 I was accepted as a Student Nurse. I got through two years of my three-year course, sleeping through the lectures, then having to read my textbooks in order to keep up with what I should have learned in class, even passing my exams. But eventually I had to leave my nurse training as my constant sleeping meant there was a possibility of me harming a patient; without meaning to of course. What Was Wrong With Me, Other People Didn’t Keep Falling Asleep? Even though I worked in a hospital for just over two years, nobody picked up on what was wrong with me. Me And Further Education As I had left school at fifteen I had no educational qualifications. So being a sponge for knowledge, at aged thirty-one I went back to school. I would see my daughters off to school each morning, then I’d go to school ‘Mums’ School. I studied for a year and came out with six GCE O’Levels. I say studied and I meant double studied. I once again slept through all the lectures, so I had to study my textbooks by night. It Was Twenty Years Later That I Found Out What Ailed Me In 1981 I read a letter in our local newspaper. Dorothy Hand wanted to start a support group for Narcoleptics. She described the symptoms. Now at long last I knew why I was always falling asleep, I wasn’t alone with the problem of always nodding off, and what I had, had a name. Narcolepsy. I went to the first meeting. There were thirty of us. We sat in a large circle. Each of us in turn stood up and told the rest of the group what our problem was One man was a long distance lorry driver, he had to pull into a layby every half hour in order to have a little doze. Another man didn’t dare to laugh or he’d fall to the ground in helpless heap. He also had Cataplexy. Most of the people there had already been diagnosed as having Narcolepsy. I went away from that meeting knowing at long last there was definitely a reason why I kept falling asleep. I was encouraged by the group to go and see my doctor as soon as possible. I had been to my doctor some years earlier, but he said I was probably bored, so that was why I kept falling asleep. I have never been bored in my life. So a couple of days later, I went to see my doctor. Just by a stroke of luck, my doctor was on holiday, so I saw a locum. This time I didn’t tell him my symptoms and hope he’d work out what was wrong with me, but I asked him, ‘What do you know about Narcolepsy?’ ‘Sit down,’ he said. ‘Tell me all about it.’ So two weeks later, I was at the hospital seeing a Neurologist. After various tests, he confirmed that I did have Narcolepsy. This surprised my husband, who had accompanied me to the hospital, because he truly believed that I was just tired, as I was on the go sixteen hours a day. I think ten of those hours were spent in a semi waking condition or maybe a better description would have been like a zombie. When the Neurologist confirmed that I did have Narcolepsy, he also told me I had it mildly. So he gave me some medication that turned out to be Amphetamines. I remember taking one tablet and soon after, I started feeling sick, so I flushed the rest down the toilet. I have never taken any medication for it since then. Over the past twenty-five years I have seen people with much more severe symptoms of Narcolepsy than I have. Medication does mean they don’t sleep as much as they would without the medication, but as time passes, the dosage has to be increased regularly. Thankfully, frustrating as it is to be sleeping my life away, I am no better or worse than I was when I started with Narcolepsy forty-five years ago. But I consider myself lucky. Apart From Falling Asleep Frequently, What Else Happens? Others that have Narcolepsy, besides having the sleeping bouts, called EDS (Excessive Daytime Sleepiness throughout the day, also have Cataplexy. This is brought on by an emotion, could be laughing, crying, joy or sorrow. Their muscles give way, and they will fall to the floor in a helpless heap. Unfortunately, while in this helpless state on the floor, they are fully aware of what is going on, but for the few minutes it lasts for, they are unable to move or speak. There are more minor things that I do suffer from. One is called Restless Legs, although I do realise that Restless Legs are not just for Narcoleptics. And the way I can fall asleep any time of the day, you would think I’d have no trouble falling asleep when I do officially get into bed. But that is not the case. Sometimes it can take me up to an hour to drop off to sleep. Then I sleep about two hours and wake up again. This sleep pattern can go on right through the night. Some Other Problems That Can Go Along With Narcolepsy · Learning Difficulties and Memory Impairment · Short Attention Span · Eye Fatigue · Binge Eating · Alcohol Sensitivity · Lack of Sexual Interest · Depression · Automatic Behaviour Is It A Common Problem? Narcolepsy is a condition that can strike anybody at anytime. Although some people have Narcolepsy as children, other people, myself included first start with the symptoms in their early twenties. There are said to be about 10 000 cases in the United Kingdom, but there are Narcoleptics all over the world. Male or female, rich or poor. From a street cleaner to a Prime Minister. Colour, race or creed, Narcolepsy does not discriminate. Not a proven fact, but it is believed that Winston Churchill had Narcolepsy. Can Narcolepsy Be Cured? No Narcolepsy can’t be cured. Once a Narcoleptic always a Narcoleptic. Medication can help the Narcoleptic to live a better quality of life, but I couldn’t say a normal life. Some days are better than others. It becomes difficult to plan things, because as a Narcoleptic, I never know what I’m going to be like from one day to the next. So with Narcolepsy being a way of life. I just have to get on with living as best I can.

Before you bring your new pit bull puppy home dog owner advice
There are several things one should consider before adding a Pit Bull terrier to your household. As with any and all breeds of dogs, Pit Bulls have their own individual quirks and personalities that should be researched and considered thoroughly before adding a Pit Bull puppy to your family. You also will need to make sure that you have time for a puppy in your life, as they crave lots of love and attention, and don’t do as well in busy families where they aren’t able to get that. You definitely do not want to add a new pet if it isn’t going to fit in with your family or other pets you may already have. Pit Bull terriers usually do better in homes with older children, than those with babies or toddlers. Once you have made the decision that a Pit Bull puppy would be a good addition to your household, you will need to ready your house for him before you bring the puppy home. Preparing your home beforehand will make your first few days at home with your new puppy much easier. Puppies are naturally curious about their surroundings, so you definitely should take precaution with household products, plants, poisons, etc. Puppies also tend to be destructive sometimes, so you will also need to consider that as well. They like to chew a lot, so you will want to purchase toys for them to have, and keep anything you don’t want damaged out of the puppy’s area. When you bring your new puppy home, you should ensure that there will be someone at home most of the time. The puppy should be taken outside often, at least until he is house-broken. It is also important that your puppy get a lot of exercise, which will help in getting rid of any pent up energy he may have, making the puppy easier to deal with. It is very important to try to have a routine for your new puppy, as puppies tend to do better when things are kept consistent. Many puppies don’t respond well to change, so it is important to establish a routine and keep it up. Owning a Pit Bull terrier comes with a lot of responsibility, as with owning any pet. Pit Bulls thrive in homes with loving and attentive owners. They are very loving and devoted when cared for and treated well.
How to choose an airline card
: There are so many airline cards that might be making you confused to decide which one to choose from? You can easily arrive at some decision by asking yourself these basic questions such as which airline do you use most? or how often do you fly and is there any benefits worth the fees charged by these airlines. In case you use only one airline whenever you travel you have to first check with them and see if they have their own airline card because some of the airlines don’t offer their own card but they are in some join venture with other companies to offer their own special card. However, it is more likely that your favorite airline has its own airline card available. It may be possible that you just look at the cost of the flights, schedule or deals and don’t pay any attention to the airline that takes you to your wished destination. So if this is the case you need to search for an airline card that has more lenience and thus you should be able to find an airlines card that is offered with several airlines instead of just one. You should also check into airline cards and if you fly quite often then you can easily find some great offers and benefits however if you travel only once a year or every couple of years then airline credit card would be the best deal. As each airline card works on some point and after you fly for a certain amount of miles you can also receive a free flight. You should remember that most of the time the point that you accumulate on your airline card expires. So you should not fly very often or you will be losing some points instead of gaining some reward points for yourself. If you are fly very often, then an airline card can give you plenty of benefits especially if you have an airlines credit card that doesn’t put a cap on the points that you can earn every year. Should you hire a professional for cleaning your carpets
No matter how much care you take of your carpet, there comes a day when it demands a professional carpet cleaning. It is true that keeping your carpet coated with Scotchgard and cleaning spills the moment they occur will keep your carpet cleaner for a long time, but eventually a time will come when your carpet will need to be properly cleaned using steaming and hot water extraction methods. You might be shifting out of a house or planning to throw a grand party and a major decision you might find yourself making is whether to clean your carpet yourself or get it done by professionals. There are both advantages and disadvantages associated with cleaning your carpet yourself. One of the most important disadvantages is that you do not know what kinds of results you will get since you are no expert on carpet cleaning and do it a maximum of once in two years. Knowing what chemicals to use and in what quantity is something that you might not be very sure of. On the other hand, hiring a carpet cleaning machine that you do not know how to operate properly might end up leaving your carpets wet and prone to molding, with the cleaning being nothing to write home about. However, if you are sure that you will be able to do the job yourself and really know how to use carpet cleaning machines, how to use chemicals, which ones to use and where, then you should go for cleaning your carpets yourself and take advantage of the major benefit of cleaning your carpet yourself extremely low costs. One thing that you should keep in mind when cleaning your carpet yourself is to use chemicals that are not really harmful for you and your kids. It is advised that you keep your kids out of the house for at least a day after the carpet cleaning since chemicals in carpet cleaners can bring on asthma and allergy attacks in a number of people. Make sure that you read all the warnings and precautions given on the carpet cleaner packs and follow them to a T. Hiring a professional carpet cleaner comes with its own pros and cons too. For one, professional carpet cleaning services are generally costly and if you are somehow unlucky enough to hire the wrong kind of people, they may end up ruining your carpet and floor permanently. On the other hand, if you actually manage to hire good professional carpet cleaners, then you will not only be saved from the hassle of doing the job yourself, you will also be guaranteed a good job and a very clean carpet for months to come. Therefore the key to getting your carpet cleaned is to save up a little and hire a reputable carpet cleaning firm for doing the job. This way, you will not have to worry about handling dangerous chemicals, handling a carpet cleaning machine or getting your carpets spoiled. Make sure that you hire a company that is recommended by a lot of people instead of hiring just anybody who says he can clean a carpet and you will end up with nice and clean carpets.
Vacationing in gold west country montana
Montana is a vast and varied state of mountains, canyons, river valleys, forests and caverns. It's the 4th largest state in the nation but with our popularion under 1 million, it's actually the sixth least-populated state. Ah... there is room to breathe and nowhere is the air fresher. The myths and legends of the American West are still alive here from the historic ghost towns Virginia City to Butte and Anaconda, the site of the famous Copper King Wars, and a very short jaunt from The Fish Creek House Bed and Breakfast in Whitehall, Butte also has something few other cities can claim – a rich and incredible history. Visiting Butte, even today, one can literally step back into time. Butte is also one of only two cities to be recognized as a National Historic Landmark – with more than 4000 historic buildings of one kind or another. Butte is literally teeming full of historic buildings – and makes other “restored” historic towns seem rather lame in comparison. And if all the historical buildings and “ghost signs” aren’t enough, there is always the every present old mining rigs (over 40 of them dot the sky in Butte) to help remind visitors what built Butte into the town that it is today. As the Lewis and Clark expedition commemorates its bicentennial, Montana is again a central part of the Lewis and Clark travels. As you can wind your way west through the "City of Murals" here in Whitehall and retrace the historic trails of the Lewis and Clark expedition, stop by at the Fish Creek House You'll feel right at home in their beautiful log home Bed & Breakfast, and will happily assist you in planning your visit around Big Sky country. Then there's the watchable wildlife... A pair of binoculars will come in handy as you discover the pleasures of one of Montana's most popular pastimes, wildlife watching. Elk, deer and antelope roam freely on our property. A good tip, grab a cup of coffee while we whip up breakfast since according to the experts, the best viewing time is dawn. We can assist you with other professional guide services. Whether you're visiting Montana for a hunt or fishing on one of the world class fly fishing rivers nearby, or if you simply prefer to relax Fish Creek House is a wonderful home to come back to... while you're away.
7 Ways to grow flowers
Flowering landscape trees are the crown jewels of the yard. Perhaps no other plants, individually, can have as great an impact on how a yard looks in spring. Browse the articles to which I've linked below for information on particular varieties of flowering landscape trees. Pictures are included. Crape Myrtles: Landscape Trees of the South A popular choice in flowering landscape trees for Southerners, crape myrtles have a long blooming period (mid-summer to fall). The blooming clusters of these flowering landscape trees come in pink, white, red and lavender. The clusters appear on the tips of new wood. Northerners can sometimes get away with treating these flowering landscape trees as perennials that die back in winter but come back in spring. Trees Not all specimens with a weeping habit are flowering landscape trees, but this article looks at several weeping varieties that do bloom, headed by four types of cherry. Saucer Magnolias The size and shape of the blooms are what suggested the common name for these flowering landscape trees. Want a specimen with a brilliant bloom as big as a saucer? Access information on these beauties here. Rose of Sharon Although some people think of it as a landscape "tree" (because it gets tall and can be pruned so as to have a single trunk), rose of sharon is, in fact, a flowering shrub. The fact that it blooms relatively late -- and for a long time -- makes it a valuable plant for those looking to distribute their yard's color display throughout the growing season. Top 10 List of Flowering Landscape Trees and Shrubs for Spring | This article features information on ten flowering landscape trees and shrubs that brighten our spring seasons. Included are redbud, callery pear and crabapple. Hawthorn: Late-Blooming Landscape Trees This article offers information on Washington hawthorn trees, which are perhaps most valued for the time at which they bloom (late spring to early summer). Many of the popular flowering specimens bloom earlier in the spring, and while their blossoms are pleasant sights for eyes sore from winter's barrenness, they desert us too quickly!

Subprime mortgages and a past bankruptcy
Even with a Chapter 7 bankruptcy in your credit report you can still qualify for a sub-prime mortgage. Once approved, you can then use your mortgage to improve your credit history, qualifying you for lower interest rates in the future. The Effects of a Bankruptcy A bankruptcy will affect your credit score based on how long ago it was. So a bankruptcy discharged less than a year ago will qualify you for a D loan. These types of loans usually require 30% down and a high interest rate. By waiting a year after a bankruptcy, you can qualify for a B or C loan with their lower rates and down payment requirements. If you wait two years, you can qualify for a FHA home loan. In four years, you can qualify for a conventional loan. Besides your bankruptcy record, financing companies will want to see a steady payment history. This includes your credit and rent payments. Cash reserves for six to twelve months will also offset your credit risk. Search For Lenders Not all sub-prime lenders evaluate borrowers the same way. So you may qualify for a B loan with one lender and a C lender with another. To find who will offer you the best financing, you will need to request quotes from several lenders. You can request quotes over the phone or online. Online sites will provide a fairly accurate quote based on the generic information you provide. You can also use free mortgage broker sites which provide home loan quotes from several different financing companies. Before You Apply Before you apply for your mortgage, make sure that all accounts involved in your bankruptcy have been closed. You can request a copy of your credit report from the reporting agencies to check your information. You may also consider including a letter in your report explaining the circumstances of your bankruptcy. Some lenders will look more favorably on your account if illness or job loss affected your finances. After Your Mortgage Once you have purchased your home, plan on rebuilding your credit history by making regular payments. Within two years you may qualify for a conventional mortgage with low rates.

After 2 400 years ordinary tie is no match for custom tie
It’s definitely “OUT with the old and ordinary and IN with the new and adventurous”. For 2,400 years, the standard necktie has been a staple. For many it is hard to break the tried and true habit of wearing the safe, secure standard print tie like our ancestors before us. Many of our standard prints and designs have been around for decades. Yes, ties have become wider at the ends, but little else has changed for a long, long time. Neckties could be among the oldest, longest lasting examples of a clothing item acting as a symbol. China’s first emperor had a huge army that was duplicated in terracotta upon his death and each wrapped with a necktie. Why did they each have a necktie? We may never know for sure, but many scholars believe it was meant to show unity with the emperor. With new innovations in technology and lower costs, we now have the chance to develop our own custom ties with whatever design we choose. Fortune 500 companies are making ties that feature their company logos, characters, products or colors and they are making waves in the workplace. Not only do custom ties and scarves serve as effective product branding, but they also allow company employees to feel like they are part of an exclusive group. This creates unity and camaraderie. Custom neckties, often called logo ties or corporate ties, are becoming more and more accepted across the globe as companies, medical schools, fraternities, alumni groups and other organizations decide they want a tie or scarf to display what they are all about. They want to be unique and create a fellowship of togetherness that is usually only seen when everyone wears a same uniform. A custom tie is a way to show that everyone is on the same team. Whether you want to design a traditional “Brooks Brothers” look or a bold, bright, eye-catching corporate logo design, nothing is off limits now days. It just depends on what you want your ties to express. The possibilities are limitless. Custom ties and scarves are also very affordable when purchased from the right supplier. And remember that anyone can make custom neckwear…but few have the ability to create award-winning designs that will make your custom ties and scarves really “pop”. It is easy to recognize the value of well designed, limited edition ties in creating corporate identity or renewed traditions in fraternities and alumni groups. After all these years, why do people still buy and wear neckties? There is no simple answer, but ties continue to be seen as symbols. They bind groups and teams together whether those in a corporate environment, fraternity or on an athletic team. Not only do ties bind people to a common cause, they also motivate. Fashion trends may come and go, but neckwear endures – for solid historical and cultural reasons. Custom ties create a fashion statement for others looking to escape the very conservative, traditional tie. Remember that new and adventurous is in. Old and stuffy is out. Have fun designing your very own custom tie; you’ll be glad you did.
How to build a profitable list
The call to action to sign up has to be an ingrained part of your website. It is a mistake to have a single call to action. Your visitors should be able to sign up on any page. If you have a website with twenty-five pages, have twenty-five subscribe buttons on your site. It is true that you can’t expect to get until you give. Provide your visitors with a free gift such as a special report. For example, a realtor might provide a special report on selling a home in a soft market. Brand you special report effectively. Include your name, your website address, your phone number, e-mail address, the name of your company, and your physical address. Your subscribers might forward your report to their friends and family members, and you have to make sure it is easy for anyone to reach you. Embed information within your special report about how to subscribe to your website to receive similar information. A few more examples of free give aways are ebooks, online courses, and tutorials. Keep in mind that free doesn’t mean worthless. Whatever you give away has to have value. The only drawback of giving something free in exchange for a sign up is that you might get people on your list that are only interested in your free gift. Regardless, free gifts provide a great way to build your list. Provide short audio clips for your subscribers. A CPA might provide audio tips about reducing your taxes. The audio doesn’t have to be a one-hour presentation. Two to three minute audio files are perfect for website. Make forwarding your audio materials easy. Encourage your subscribers to forward a link to their friends or family members. Again, the key is to brand the advice properly. Anyone that listens to the file should know your name, your website address, and your contact information. If you are unsure about a topic for your audio materials, interview several of your satisfied customers. Your customers can be your best sales people. Let them help you. Contact them, and ask them to see if they would be available for a short phone interview. Most of them will be delighted to have an opportunity to be heard.
The nose has eyes too
There are 6 things that your scent should do for you, when it comes to a man. 1. Make a statement about you: This is important when picking a cologne or perfume. You can usually tell by the name. Your cologne talks to him. It might say, " The lady is sweet and of a gentle heart." or it my say, "She is a Tiger. Can you handle it?", and it could even leave him in mystery. When a man has questions about you he begins to seek for answers. This is where the fun begins. He does cute things like mention the husband or boyfriend you don't have, to find out if you are single without asking, "Are you single?" Let him have that one for free. Let him be creative to get the rest of his questions the answered. See yourself as a treasure chest. He is a great explorer (or my favorite the handsome bad-boy pirate). 2. Leave an impression on him: You are branding yourself in his mind, as scent is the closest thing tide to memory. He will associate your fragrance with your face, your personality and your grace. He will carry that memory in the same place in his mind where he carries his favorite food and that is a good place to be in his mind. 3. Linger after you are gone: You can leave your scent on his cloths, furniture and pillows. This is important. This is like leaving a remnant of your presence with him. This will cause him to slip into a day dream involving you. Every time he is near that chair or pillow (even after the fragrance has faded into nothing) he will think of you. Pretty soon just being in the room will make him think of you. You will never know this. He will never tell you, but it is true. The same thing happens to us women when a man smells good. Smell is an invisible charmer. 4. Keep his attention on you: You know the phrase, "All eyes on you". His eyes will follow you to know end when ever you are near. He'll find himself following you around while trying to keep his cool. He'll be talking to someone and loose his train of thought when you pass by and suddenly you will be the most important thing in the room. He'll more than notice you; he'll want to know you. If you've got the attitude to go with your fragrance, he will want you. 5. Replay you in his mind: He can't stop thinking about little things you did around him like your laugh, your walk. Even the goofy stuff you don't think is cute, he'll fine so cute. He will connect to you and not even really know why. Then the rest is up to you. 6. Make him thirst for you: He'll go out of his way to see you. When a man smells something good, he usually wants to eat it. So let him eat the flavor of you up.
Shortcuts to guilt free living right now part 1
Copyright 2006 Melissa Galt So you want the key to better living? It’s simple. All you need is more time to do things you really want to do. The question is how to get that. Read on and you’ll learn the secrets and shortcuts right now. As far as food goes, you don’t have to cook! I mean you don’t even have to microwave. I always figured that if I could have dinner ready in 3 minutes or less that was sufficient, but now I’ve learned I can eat rich and even eat right with no effort at all. Locate a favorite gourmet takeout. Some cities and areas have a takeout taxi with a group of restaurants being served. Another popular option today, especially for couples and families, is to consider hiring a personal chef. These professionals can come to your home and cook up a storm leaving you with a gourmet smelling home for a night, and great meals with no repeats for a week or even two. Today even your favorite grocer has ready made meals for those on the go or just those without the know-how. Check out the local gourmet deli and takeout for delicious solutions to any craving. Give someone else your errands. That’s right, you can get your dry cleaning picked up and delivered door to door. Many pharmacies also offer delivery, or order online. You can even order your postage online these days, saving those agonizing trips to the post office and missing the chance of a truly postal experience. There are also concierge services independent of the luxury hotel chains that do the same sort of errands, ticket ordering, reservations and such. Giving up the so called “loose end” activities can really be a time saver. Hire a maid service or a cleaning person. You deserve it! Surely your time is worth more than the $55-$100 it takes to have someone else spend 3-5 hours a week vacuuming, dusting, polishing, and scouring. Besides, given the choice between spending time with friends and cleaning, I'd be with friends, wouldn’t you? If it seems hard to justify because it is just you, have it done biweekly. Greenery--you’ve got to have it to add life to every room, but oh the maintenance can be a challenge. It is also an important factor in your house’s curb appeal. Call in Blossom Boxes or any other quick fix solution for your live plant needs both indoors and out. They can establish the right mix of plants in attractive containers, and all you have to do is water (or have your maid water inside and your gardener water outside). You’d be surprised at what a difference this will make both visually and physically (plants clean the air), and how inviting your place will look. If you really are reluctant to do live plants, silk is fine, just make sure that the cleaning service of choice knows to spray these monthly with silk floral cleaner (no wiping necessary), so that they don’t wind up being dust trees. The next shortcut for a better life involves hiring a handyman to get those nagging shores done! You know you’ve wanted to add crown moulding to the bedrooms upstairs, but you haven’t got the time or the talent. You know you need the deck restained and sealed. The shower is badly in need of regrouting, ugh. And, you’ve got to address that leak in the garage. Why not call someone to take care of these chores for you? You don’t have to do it yourself; you just need to get it done. There are any numbers of individuals ready to help. You can also use services from online or the yellow pages like Good Neighbor or Service Magic. They guarantee their work and only allow bonded and insured talent. Do you get anxious every time you travel about leaving Fido or Rover home alone? Or perhaps you wrestle them into the pet carrier (often a traumatic experience for you both) and haul them to the vet. Well, no more. Find a pet sitter that you like, who likes your pets and who is preferably bonded and insured. (Check those references, too.) It is much simpler and less traumatic to your pets to be under the care of a trusted pet sitter than to be boarded at the vet every time you travel. You’ll also be protecting your pooch’s health by keeping him away from the myriad of diseases that circulate at kennels. Most pet sitters will also pick up your mail, water your plants and turn on and off lights for your pet’s comfort and so that your house doesn’t appear to be uninhabited (a great safety measure!). Worry free travel is hard to come by, but this step can make a big difference. In part 1 of this 2 part series, we’ve covered some very useful ways you can delegate the tasks in your life that you don’t have time to do (or just don’t want to do!). Remember, this is your life, and every minute that you spend doing things that drain you is holding you back from living your best life. In part 2 of this series, we’ll cover some additional ideas for streamlining your life by hiring talented professionals to do the things you aren’t inclined to do.
Acne myths discover 9 ugly lies about acne causes and treatments
It's unbelievable ... What if I told you that most of the popular beliefs about acne, are in fact myths? Let’s take a look at some popular beliefs about acne to dispel any other rumors ... Myth #1: Is it true that increased stress spreads acne? Not exactly. What is true is that ultimately stress can have a very minimal or minor influence all by itself. It cannot actually cause acne, but it can influence reoccurrences of acne as stress increases the body’s creation of a substance called cortisol that in turn causes your sebaceous glands to produce increased amounts of sebum oil that can be blocked in pores. Note, however, that some medications people take when trying to deal with or treat stress can have a large influence on acne as the result of medication side effects. Myth #2: Acne is contagious, true or false? Not! No one can "catch" acne; it is non-communicable. Myth #3:You’ll outgrow acne, so just leave it alone - myth or truth? This is false. Acne strikes all ages and is treatable, but shouldn’t be left alone to possibly worsen. Myth #4: Being out in the sun helps acne, right? In the long run, no. The sun may appear to help clear up your blemishes and redden your skin, thus lessening the overall reddish effect of the targeted acne area when it was outstanding. However, rays from the sun can cause skin damage and actually irritate skin more, worsening any existing acne problems in the process and clogging more pores as skin cells dry up and slough off quicker than normal. So use caution (and sunscreen) here! Myth #5: Sweating helps clean out your hair follicle areas, myth or reality? Another myth. In reality, strenuous activity can temporarily increase your body’s oil production that can actually worsen acne problem areas, causing recurrence or intensification. Myth #6: Acne problems are directly proportionate to sexual activity, or lack thereof; true or false? False, another myth. Just because teenagers are going through hormonal changes, does not mean that this has anything to do with acne. Both are separate issues. Same with adult acne and sex; two entirely different issues. Myth #7: People with acne are dirty and don’t wash enough. Not! This is another myth. Acne is the result of a build up of oil, dead skin cells and bacteria in a closed pore. Period. Dirt is not even a factor in the equation. Myth #8: Acne is only on external issue or surface deep; i. e. people shouldn’t make such a big thing out of it, myth or reality? Myth. In reality, yes, it basically is only on your skin (and underneath the surface a little bit). However, the effects run much more deeper than that in many instances. More than 50 percent of those suffering acne problems reported negative comments and other feedback from members of society, regardless of whether or not there was any scarring left for others to see afterwards. And resulting internal depression and low self-esteem can be harmful emotionally not only short-term but over a person’s lifetime. So acne can indeed be a very big issue requiring healthcare treatment and support. Myth #9: OK, myth or reality: there is a cure for acne? Myth. Although there is no cure at this time, there are many treatments available that do a great job. As the saying goes, "Prevention is the best medicine;" however, there is no need to suffer in silence with all the options available on the market today for all price ranges. So there you have it ... now that you are armed with this information you can do something to treat your acne condition. How i lost the secret of dazzling success for 20 years
Ever heard of the Fuller Brush Man? You know, those legendary guys who came knocking on the front doors of America, selling brushes, mops and cleaners? I was one of them, back in my early twenties. I had just quit a job in an employment agency after four-and-a-half very long, very stressful days. Confined for eight hours a day to an incredibly tiny cubicle, ear pressed to the phone calling through the yellow pages trying to find job listings, then on my very first interview having to lie to a girl about a fictitious job the boss had advertised to pull in applicants. (Can you say bait-and-switch?) That girl knew I was lying, and when she walked out the door, I walked out, too, almost on her heels. So when I started a new job selling door-to-door, it seemed like heaven in comparison. No cubical - I was outdoors in the June sunshine and balmy breezes. No telephone - I was talking to people face to face. And no lying. If I didn't think a product measured up, I simply didn't put it in my case; I only showed what I thought was the best. I was ecstatic from the first minute of the first day. Every house I walked up to, my heart sang and I said over and over to myself, "I am SO-O-O-O-O-O glad to be out here and not trapped in that cubical." I was deliriously happy to be where I was. Overjoyed to be doing what I was doing. And sell? Man, I sold just about half of all the people I talked to. Back in the early sixties, a hundred-dollar-day was the holy grail of Fuller Brush men. Sales people would stay out till eight or nine o'clock every night trying to nail that hundred dollar mark. But not me. I knocked off every afternoon about five or five-thirty with $120 or $130 worth of receipts in my order book. Then, after a few weeks, something quietly changed. My sales began to sag. Each morning saw me going out a little less enthusiastic. I spent increasing amounts of time trying to figure out what was going wrong. After a few months, I left that job, utterly disappointed in myself. Afterwards I wondered how I could have taken something so obviously perfect for me and messed it up so badly. In fact, that question followed me, haunted me for twenty long years. Eventually, though, I figured it out. The secret had been right in front of my nose all those years, but just as a fish can't see the water it swims in, I had been unable to repeat that undeniable success. My big secret? It was simple, really. I had filled my mind with thankfulness - undiluted gratitude - unreserved joy at being right where I was, doing exactly what I was doing. Then, twenty years later, when I started being thankful again - but deliberately, this time - my life changed back. Suddenly, all sorts of "serendipitous" things started occurring. People I barely knew started bringing me terrific opportunities. Mark this: Joyous stuff started happening AFTER I went back to being overjoyed with my life. Make no mistake - there were still challenges that needed to be dealt with. But I stopped seeing "problems" as personal affronts deliberately sent by life to impede me. In fact, with the right mindset, I couldn't see problems at all. Instead, they looked like fascinating puzzles to solve and games to enjoy sorting out. And even now, anytime I feel life becoming a bit too stressful, a bit too heavy, a bit less fun, I make myself stop and - against all logic - I start looking at all the stuff around me and calling it good. And yes, I even make myself say, "I am SO-O-O-O-O glad to be right here, right now." And I don't stop saying that until I can feel it taking hold. Now, I realize that on the surface, there is absolutely no logic to this practice... except for one tiny thing. It works. So if you decide to try this approach, do this: make a list of all your major problems and start through them, one at a time, saying, "I am so glad this is happening. This is actually very interesting now that I look at it closely, and I'm lucky to be here so I can gain some great new knowledge from this. I am SO-O-O-O-O glad." Warning: you've got to put some real oomph into it. Some real feeling. Just saying the words without working up some enthusiasm is like writing a letter without a pen in your hand. You're going through all the motions, but no communication takes place. So do that, and keep doing it till it starts taking hold. How can you tell when it's taking hold? There are two signs. First, you begin to lose that tense, blocked, frustrated feeling. And second, your life starts working FOR you instead of AGAINST you. Lots of little things start going right instead of wrong. People begin treating you like you've always wanted them to. And you go to bed each night feeling like you've just had a wonderful day. If you've tried and tried all the logical stuff and your life is still a mess, try being illogical. Try being thankful for everything you've got. Including the mess. And you'll find, just as I have, that indeed there is a miracle in every mess.

Enjoy sabah s eco treasures
Adventure seekers flock to Sabah to climb Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain in South-east Asia, or go scuba diving at Spidan, touted as one of the world's best dive spots. Sabah is located on the northern tip of Borneo, the third largest island in the world. Its capital, Kota Kinabalu, is a 2 and 1/2 hour flight from Singapore. The other name to Sabah is "The Land Below The Wind". It is blessed with some of nature's most breathtaking wonders. It has the world's oldest rainforest's and lots of sandy beaches, tropical islands and colorful coral reefs. For nature lovers and shutterbugs, this is also the place to come face to face with a reat diversity of wildlife in their natural habitats, such as orang utans, proboscis, monkeys, sea turtles and, if you are lucky, the world's largest flower, Rafflesia Forest and Hot Springs in Sabah Do not like to climb mountain? Well, you can still enjoy the sights and sounds around Moutn Kinabalu without doing much vertical exercise. Just take a drive to Kinabalua Park, which is juts about 2 hours from Kota Kinabalua. The park is Malaysia's first Unesco World Heritage Site. It encompasses Mount Kinabalua and covers an area larger than Singapore. From the park's headquarters, take a stroll on one of the walking trails and enjoy the serenity, fresh air, tiny creatures and flora along the way. Go on a guided tour if you want to identify what you see. Include Poring in your itinerary if you want to try the canopy walkway and hot springs. It is about 40km away from Kinabalua park HQ. Sabah may be home to Rafflesia, the largest flower in the flower, but it is difficult to see one because it takes nine to 15 months to bud and lasts only seven days in bloom. Rivers and Monkeys If you want to see wildlife, go on a river safari, such as Klias Wetlands which is 20km from Kota Kinabalua. But bear in mind that a river safari is not a zoo. So do not expect the animals to perch prominently on tree branches for you to gawk at as your boat sail by. But the fun is that if you look hard enough, you will spot them. M sharp-eyed travel mate managed to spot a family of proboscis monkeys before our boatman did. Look out for other monkeys, birds, fireflies and crocodiles too. Bring along your binoculars or a camera with zoom lens. And do not forget to take a poncho because you never know when it might rain. The Sand, Sea and Seafood in Sabah In less than 20 minutes, you can hop from city to coral life - that is how close the nearest snorkel and drive sites are to Kota Kinabalua. The Tunku Abdul Rahman marine park has five islands, which are surrounded by extensive coral reefs. You an take a short boat ride from the mainland or check into one of the island resorts for an idyllic escapade. Do not worry if you cannot swim or snorkel. You can walk under the sea while keeping your head dry and your glasses on - with the Sea-walker air-hosed helmet. While you may feel a bit clumsy with the bulky fish-bowl helmet, you can breathe through your nose underwater. And to refuel what you have lost from all that swimming, sea walking or lazing around, hop to Manukan Island for a yummy barbecue buffet lunch under the shade of the coconut trees.
Bipolar imbalances and hormones
Working as a nurse in the emmergency room you meet a beautiful variety of people. Among those for whom I feel a special sympathy are those with bipolar. They can of course be quite the characters: some hear voices, some live on the streets, some have an extraordinary sense of humor, some love to sing and entertain… and much more. One thing bipolar patients have in common is that they take heavy medications, particularly antidepressants that have many side effects. To whatever question you ask these patients, the answer will often be, “Well, I have bipolar.” As if this one sad fact is sufficient explanation for all possible questions. But the word “bipolar”, of course, does not explain everything, and this is particularly true for women having problems with hormonal changes. For example, one woman had a hysterectomy because of severe bleeding, then had to go on hormone replacement therapy. After a couple of months she completely “lost it”. She became convinced that she had to move far, far away and take up missionary work – to the alarm of her concerned family. Bingo. She was put on antidepressants and given the convenient label of “bipolar.” Well – she took her antipressants cross-country with her and ended up living on the streets with the homeless. Rescued finally, by some good friends, she was brought back home, where she if now off most medication, trying to stay as sane as possible, and still saddled with the heavy label of “bipolar.” Many women in and around menopause go haywire… but is that necessarily bipolar? I often wonder at how strongly hormones can affect mental health, as is often the case with women after childbirth, with the so-called ‘baby blues’. Often due to the hormone progesterone easy to fix with natural progesterone cream. Likewise, women – and men in their own hormonal midlife crisis – often get depressed. But should this really be any surprise? After all, so many things are changing at this point – it’s like adolesence all over again, but in reverse! New sensations and a new view of life… letting go of the old ways and struggling with the new… There can be a lot of confusion with many challenging questions demanding to be lived. Unfortunately, many take the easy road and simply dodge the whole thing. They accept being depressed and can even console themselves with the mantra, “After all, I’m bipolar.” One solution might simply be to use common sense. Bipolar or not, it’s essential to take in enough essential amino acids and different forms of protein. Many people’s protein intake is limited and unvarying: just red meat, chicken and eggs. If you read Dr. Eric Braverman’s book “The Edge Effect”, you’ll see that we need protein from many sources, including meat, poultry, nuts, eggs, fish, dairy, beans, and vegetables. This approach is helpful for all of us, but especially for those with bipolar – whether it’s the real thing or not. Dark chocolate can be helpful too, offering some of the same benefits as such antidepressants as Prozac and Paxil, but with no side effects. Just as healthy foods are vital for growing children, they are crucial for anybody going through big changes or having a difficult time. So be sure to eat well and exercise, and study Dr. Braverman’s “The Edge Effect”. Give yourself what your brain needs to function well and create harmony in your being. Don’t worry so much about your bipolar – or the bipolar label. Apply your thoughts to the constructive self-healing that is possible. Common sense is not so common. Good luck with finding what works for you! Warmly, Pieternel
Choosing an online stockbroker different types of broker services
The world has changed incredibly over the past couple of decades – and there is no greater indication of that than in the world of stock trading and investing. In times gone-by, the majority of investors would pick their stocks via a traditional stockbroker at a brokerage firm. The transaction would involve paper based stock certificates being issued to the stock buyer. The types of investments available to the “average investor” were also highly limited. Today, the same “average investor” can trade anything from single stocks to currencies, commodities and indices – all with the simple click of a mouse – and without ever leaving the home. But with choice comes confusion – deciding on what stockbroker fits your needs like a glove can be a daunting process. This guide has been designed to give you an understanding of the different types of stockbroker services that exist, and help you decide which one is right for you. Here are just a few of the many issues that you will need to consider when deciding on your preferred stockbroker: - Do you feel comfortable executing your trades online, with one click ease, or do you prefer doing your business with an actual person, on the phone or even in person? The availability of technology has meant that firms are able to process large volumes of trades cheaply, so if you don’t need a person to talk with to make your trades then there are a large number of “no frills” online brokerage services that will allow you to do business for a few dollars per trade. - How many transactions you make will go a large way towards deciding which brokerage service is the right one for you. Some firms will offer price breaks for frequent traders – so if you’re a day trader then you can find a service that’s far better equipped for your needs than if you were an infrequent investor. - Do you require a basic “execution only” service or do you require some advice when making your trades? Clearly, an execution only service is going to be cheaper. The Different Types Of Stockbroker Services Available There are three basic types of stock-broking services available to the public: 1. Advisory Service – Any firm that offers advice to the public as part of an advisory stock-broking service must be registered and authorised by the Financial Services Authority (FSA). The FSA is a government body that is set-up to ensure that financial companies comply with the many regulations that ensure a fair and fraud-free environment. A company that offers an advisory service must ensure that any staff members that offer financial advice are adequately qualified to do so. A list of companies that are FSA approved can be found on the FSA website ( fsa. gov. org). Obviously, most stockbrokers will charge a fee for their advisory services. Typically, the stockbroker will discuss your investment aims and objectives and then recommend a range of investments that they feel would best suit your needs. You can, of course, accept or reject their proposals. Advisory services tend to be done via the broker in person – either at their office, your home or over the telephone. 2. Discretionary Service - With a discretionary service, the stock-broking company will take a sum of money that you provide and invest this on your behalf. It’s significantly different to an advisory service because the stockbroker does not have to tell the investor about every trade that is made on their behalf – the stockbroker has a lot of “discretion” on how to invest the clients’ money. 3. Execution Only - As the name suggests, execution only trades are when the broker is simply instructed to buy or sell a particular investment. The broker has no say about the trade (even if they thought the stock was going to drop by 90% tomorrow they are not obliged to say anything). This is the type of service that has recently been made available to the masses via online brokerage houses that typically offer trades for $10 or so each. You'll be spending a lot of time and money with your broker - so it's worth taking the time to understand which broker is right for you.
Search engine optimization natural linking strategies
: Search Engine Optimization (SEO) can be the difference between a small, barely profitable or visible website and a traffic magnet website. There are a lot of ways, both good and bad, to influence the search engines. Some search engines react to certain strategies better than others. Some even have conflicting strategies that they react to. To document all of these things would require a significant number of pages and research that goes beyond the scope of this article. However, there are a number of things that can be documented that will work for most if not all search engines. And let's face it; there are really only 3 that make a difference between a successful and an unsuccessful SEO strategy. They are the big three: Google, Yahoo and MSN. These three search engines in any given month are responsible for over 90% of all internet searches. So, what is this article about? It's about what you can do as a website owner that will influence the search engines using commonly accepted practices of linking to other websites (outbound) and getting website links (inbound) back to you. There are basically 4 strategies that a website owner usually will employ to increase their website value in the eyes of the search engine. They are reciprocal linking, one-way linking, multi-site linking and directory linking. A website owner should not think that using just a single strategy is the right answer - sure it will help your SEO but it won't be the Best answer. The Best answer is to employ all 4 techniques and to do it naturally. Each of the four linking strategies has specific descriptions that can be summed up as: 1. Reciprocal Linking: Site A links to Site B, Site B links back to Site A 2. One-Way Linking: Site B links to Site A 3. Multi-Site Linking: Site A links to Site B, Site B links to Site C, Site C links to Site D, and Site D links back to Site A. Could be 3..N number of sites involved. 4. Directory Linking: Site Directory A links to Site A That seems simple enough but it takes time and effort to perform all 4 strategies and most website owners aren't willing to spend the time or don't have the time to spend on it. As a website owner, SEO needs to be one of the highest priority tasks that you need to address, just after Order Processing and Fulfillment and Customer Service. Without free traffic from the search engines, other traffic generation strategies that usually require payment must be engaged. Now doing the 4 strategies above is great, but it gets even harder because you have to do it in a way that doesn't trigger the search engines to enforce a penalty upon your website. No one except the search engine engineers know all of the exact penalties but we have some good theories for some of them. The first is the rate at which links are created. There is a certain threshold for creating links that is too fast. It's possible that the threshold is a sliding scale and is related to the age of the website according to the engine. For example, a young low-traffic website should not normally be getting 1000 links a month whereas an older website that gets a lot of traffic could be OK to get 1000 links a month. As you progress in your linking strategies make sure you keep this in mind, especially if you are thinking about buying links. The second is that having a link to every site that links to you will likely reduce the value of the links. In other words, if all you ever get is Reciprocal Linking, you will likely move up the SERP's (Search Engine Results Page's) but you won't reach your sites full potential. Having a mixture of all 4 strategies will appear more natural to the engines. The third is having all inbound links to your site on "linking" pages will make those links less valuable than having a natural link on a contextually relative page for a percentage of the inbound links. The higher you can drive this context percentage, the better your website will rank. These types of links are often some of the most difficult links to generate an exchange for because it requires more time and effort for both website owners. The fourth is to have links inbound from all different ranking sites. If all you have linking to you is page rank 6 and 7 sites then you are likely to be sending the message that you purchased your links and that is not natural to the engines. Some would argue that purchasing links for driving traffic is just fine and it is. However, you should not expect the search engines to give those inbound links very much weight when calculating your SERP positions. It is significantly more natural for you to have a large number of rank 1 and 2 inbound links and a decreasing number of inbound links as you move up the page rank scale (0 - 10). The fifth is to have the text of you inbound links varied. It isn't natural to have every website that links to you to have the same text on the link description. The natural tendency would be to have a certain percent be the sites name, but after that it should be a wide variety of description. Your link text description is a key factor for how your site/page will rank, so make sure that you keep that in mind as you specify your preferred link text description on your website. Finally, it would be best for a good percentage of your inbound links to appear within the text of a page that appears natural for the reader of that site. And for those links to not all point back to the home page of your website. It's most natural for a good high quality link to appear in the text of a page and have it point internally within your site. So, when you begin or continue your SEO activities keep all of these things in mind and don't be impatient. Impatience could incur penalties or worse. Your website could end up in the "sandbox". It is rumored and becoming more concrete that Google supposedly uses a sandbox that questionable sites are put in until they have aged to a point that Google no longer feels that they are being manipulated. Many of the search engines use similar protection schemes to eliminate spam sites and manipulation sites to keep their SERP's from being cluttered.
Curious do a bible search
As a seminary student, I am always looking for more information about the Bible. As I study to become a pastor for other people, it is extremely important that I learn all I can about the Bible and that I utilize all of the resources that are available to me. I had never heard of a Bible search until recently, but doing them has radically changed my ability to learn and process information about the Bible. What I love about studying the Bible is that I am always curious and hungry to learn more. I am a firm believer that people should spend their lives doing things of value that they deeply enjoy. So when the change came for me to further my education with seminary I jumped at it. Just a few months into my classes, the Bible search tools that I have been taught have by far been the most valuable source of new knowledge that I have discovered. Are you curious to learn more about the Bible? Perhaps you are taking a Bible class or are just wanting to learn for your own benefit. It doesn't matter why you want to know more, it simply matters that you can know more by doing a Bible search or two on the information you are seeking. I love that a Bible search can both satisfy my curiousity and yet leave me desiring more knowledge. What a great thing! A Bible search can happen in many ways. There are many great tools to be used, but by far some of the best can be found in libraries, at bookshops, or even on the internet. Basically, a Bible search is done whenever a learner uses tools to try to gain more knowledge about a particular passage or theme in Scripture. The Bible search doesn't have to be official, it simply has to be helpful in teaching you more about the Bible. If you are curious about learning more about a Bible search tool or two, find someone to talk with. This may mean talking with a pastor or setting up a time to meet with a Bible professor at a local college. Do whatever you can to be proactive about doing a Bible search to do more. You will be so glad that you did and the knowledge you learn will be the most helpful thing in the world for you and your future.
Is winstrol an effective cutting drug
Winstrol is commonly known as a cutting drug. It means that the drug is often used for cutting cycles. It is not a very effective compound for treating anemia, but people wouldn’t argue for its use in a bulking cycle. Many people prefer to use Dianabol or Anadrol for cutting cycles, but Winstrol is more effective drug. Winstrol actually is the drug in which Stanozolol is the key substance. Stanozolol is an anabolic steroid, a testosterone derivative that makes Winstrol like any other common anabolic steroid which helps in increasing strength without any excess body weight gains. One of the plus points of Winstrol is that it doesn’t convert into estrogen. Winstrol was first developed by the Winthrop Laboratories in 1962, and since then, the drug has been coming in two forms – oral and injection. Winstrol is the anabolic steroid that can be ranked equal to Dianabol and Deca Durabolin on the list of anabolic steroids, as far as their effectiveness, and potency is concerned, as it is purely a testosterone derivative, an androgenic hormone produced by the testes which is responsible for the development of the male secondary sex characteristics. Winstrol certainly is one of the most popular bodybuilding anabolic steroids. Winstrol has many benefits as it can be used in many conditions to cure many diseases in both animals and humans. In medical field, the drug is used as a medicine for treating anemia and hereditary angioedema, which is responsible for causing swelling of face, genitals, bowel wall and throat. In animals, it is used to treat weak muscles and is prescribed to improve muscle growth, to improve the production of RBCs, increase bone density, and to stimulate the appetite of weak animals. Where Winstrol has so many benefits, it does have some side effects also. Some of the side effects include: allergies, choking, difficulty in breathing, swelling of lips, arms, face, breast tenderness, enlargement of breast tissues in males, voice deepening, clitoral enlargement (females), headache, acne and difficulty in sleeping. The drug however is approved by FDA, but the agency allows the use of the drug under doctors’ prescription.
