I admit it – I’m a beach freak. This is not good! Money management is important but you still need the other two. You define (“predict”) where the market is heading to depending on how effective your technical and fundamental strategies are. Mastering technical analysis is the ability to predict future price movements by analyzing past price data and graphical patterns. You get a graphic of certain currencies. Check the data that you observe and based on your knowledge of technical analysis you “predict” with certain degree of accuracy where the market is going. Many brokers allow you to add technical indicators to the graphs while you are trading. You can try this on a demo account and see how well you are able to define the future price movement of the currencies you plan to trade. One of those brokers is oanda. In the other hand if you compound some or all of your profits you may increase your account exponentially over time. The magic of compound interest is amazing! This is the way that most fortunes are created on the financial markets, little by little. If you gamble your money you may lose it fast. Many traders do exactly the opposite. Imagine that you open an account with $5,000 and you enter a trade for $1,000. Let’s say that the market moves against you and you lose those $1,000. Now you have $4,000 on your account. You think that the price for the currencies is too low, so it should recover. In fact you are pretty sure that it will come back. Then you invest $1,500 to recover from the previous loss plus realize a $500 profit. The market moves again against you. It kept going in the same direction, something that you didn’t expected. What happens? Now you have $2,500 on your account. That’s 50% of your initial trading capital. It will be very hard for you to recover from that loss. In the other hand, if you risk 1% of your money on every trade, you will have $4,900 on your account after that initial loss. It will be much easier for you to recover from those trades. The second rule of money management is to expect always to receive more profits than the money that you risk to lose. This can be accomplished through limit and stop orders as well as trailing stops. For example if you expect to make a 25 pips profits on every trade, then you put the stop order at 15 pips bellow or above your entry price. A better way to have a greater expectancy ratio is to use trailing stops as I describe above. A trailing stop allows you to cut the loses short and let your winners ride. These are the basic techniques that a successful trader should use to generate consistent profits at the Forex Market. Recently, my significant other and I found ourselves facing bank foreclosure on our home. We knew it was coming. We had missed several mortgage payments while we were laid off from our jobs at the mine. Stupidly, we decided not to communicate our problems to the bank. We tried to make do with part time jobs at fast food restaurants, but trying to make all of our payments on time and still have money to buy diapers and food for the kids was very difficult. It was a scary situation to be in. The first step in bank foreclosure is missing a payment. It does not matter why you miss that first payment, but the foreclosure ball starts rolling at that point. Once fifteen days have passed from your missed payment, the bank usually tries to contact you. If you do not talk to the bank, more problems are in store. Forty-five days later, the next step is taken. At this point, you are usually warned, in writing, that you are facing foreclosure if you do not take action immediately. If you allow another thirty days to pass with nothing, the formal paperwork will begin. There are several steps you can take before the formal foreclosure process begins. All of these, though vary from state to state. In some states, you can file for bankruptcy. Most will allow you to keep your home as a protected asset. There are two types of bankruptcy you can file for. You can have your debts wiped out, or you can have your debts reorganized so you can continue to pay lenders as much as you can while still having money to survive on. Either way, the ability to file for bankruptcy and keep your home will depend entirely upon the laws in your state. Even with the best resources in the world, you may still be unable to prevent the sheriff from showing up on your doorstep with a foreclosure notice and giving you a few minutes to get any belongings you can grab and head for the streets where you may be spending a very long time. Docent-led programs, on hand at PIER 39 on weekends from 11am to 5pm, educate visitors about the variety, surroundings, and malleability of the California sea lion. Cotton candy and keepsakes are all well and good, but if you desire to get to the heart of the wharf -- boats -- there's no well again place to do it than by the pier, certainly one of the wharf area's most excellent bargains. Depending on the time of day, you could see boat builders at work or family manning a boat as folks did in the early 1900s. Don't keep away from the pride and joy collection of historic vessels, part of the San Francisco Maritime National Historic Park, all of that could be boarded. Some people feel affection for Fisherman's Wharf; others cannot get far enough away from it. Most agree that, for enhanced or for worse, it has to be seen at least once in your lifetime.

Fear of public speaking is No. 1. Death is No. 4. So most people would rather get a root canal and pay their taxes than speak in front of an audience! Ask yourself, “Wouldn’t it be great to be able to stand in front of an audience of hundreds of people and hold them in complete captivation?” “Wouldn’t it be great to feel confident and assured the day you’re scheduled to speak before your company’s executives, an association, or a local civic group?” “Wouldn’t it be great to go into a presentation confident that the attendees are going to love you, be surrounded by their applause, and overhear comments afterwards, such as, “He was excellent,” or, “She made a real connection with her audience”? Here are some tips to build your confidence in front of others. I have never met an audience that did not want the speaker to succeed. 1. Prepare! Prepare! Prepare! Preparation helps reduce your jitters. Please do not read your speech. Instead, use some notes on 3x5 index cards. Be confident that you know your material. Because you do! 2. Memorize only the opening and closing of your speech. If you try to memorize your entire speech you will be too focused on yourself and fearful that you may forget something. Just continue the conversation, make your points and use illustrations/stories to highlight your information. 3. Remember to breathe from your stomach before you begin . . . and keep breathing. Deep breaths will keep your vocal chords relaxed and keep you from trembling. Then no one will know you are nervous. 4.. Deliver your speech as you would engage in a conversation with someone. Make eye contact with different members of the audience. When you land on one person’s eyes, everyone in the audience will feel as if you are speaking to them also. This is called CONNECTION. 5.. Present your content with lots of examples and personal stories, mixed with humor and some interactive exercises for your audience. Get them involved. This will heighten their interest and retention of your message. Relax and have some fun. Your audience will too! 6. Here is an old adage to follow: Tell ‘em. what you’re gonna tell ‘em.(Opening) Tell ‘em. (Body of speech) Tell ‘em what you told them. (Closing) 7. Stop on time, no matter what. Don’t deliver everything you know on your topic – just highlight 3 to 5 points in your speech. Save time at the end for audience questions. Books have been a part of people’s lives. They provide us knowledge, information and different stories. They make us laugh, cry and even bring us inspiring tales. This is perhaps why books have a special niche in the printing industry. Hence, they are carefully and effectively produced and designed to make a lasting impression to its readers. Books are usually printed using standard paper and sizes. And to make sure that they are printed the way a publisher wants them, they have to select the right printer that offers economical print pricing. Offset printing has been the printing process used for years in book printingpared to digital printing that offers fixed cost per unit, offset printing offer a more flexible pricing scheme. This means that the more you print, the lower the cost per unit. This is perhaps why even though digital printing is recently gaining popularity in the printing industry most publishers still avail of offset printing. There are basically three types of offset press. This includes web press, sheetfeed press and belt press. This type of press is relatively the most cost effective print process that uses one color jobs and runs as much as five thousands prints. The belt press, on the other hand, is usually used for magazines and trade books. This process uses the web press process and makes use of binding. As a result paperbacks materialize completely at the end of the process while hardcovers only need jacket to complete the printing process. Conversely, the sheetfeed press is the slowest process among the three offset printing processes. This is because it prints one sheet at a time. Nonetheless, this is the only process that produces the highest quality and is best for short print runs ranging from two thousand to three thousand copies. Needless to say, the choice of printing process to use in your book printing is basically up to you. You have to carefully consider your printing needs before deciding which process to avail. But of course, before deciding the printing process to use you have to choose the book printer to do the job for you. This can be a lengthy and difficult process. But just the same, when you have carefully chosen the printer and the printing process, it can reduce your worry of not having quality book printing.

How to Make Jello Shots Making a Jello shot is like making regular Jello but instead of adding water, alcohol is the major fluid added instead. The mixture is then poured into glass or plastic shot glasses or tiny cups instead of using big bowls. For a basic selection of jello shots a simple jello shot recipe has been drawn up for you to make at home. The recipe is as follows: 1 - 6 ounce package of gelatine – any flavour of your choice 16 fl ounces or boiling water 6 fl ounces cold water 10 fl ounces 80-proof Alcohol - 40%(ABV) or higher Grab yourself a mixing bowl and add the gelatine powder together with the boiling water. Let the jello mix sit for approximately one minute to fully dissolve the gelatine. Stir for another minute to get the mix well circulated then let the gelatine cool for 5 to 10 minutes. Stir in cold water and alcohol. Place the shot glasses, jello moulds or cups and place onto a tray in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Tips Depending on the strength of alcohol, you need to adjust the ratio of alcohol to cold water to ensure that the jello sets properly. Use the following ratios to ensure proper setting jello shots: 13 ounces of 30-50 proof alcohol - 20/30% abv - to 3 ounces cold water 10 ounces 80-100 proof alcohol - 40/45% abv - to 6 ounces cold water 6 ounces 150-200 proof alcohol - 75/100% abv - to 10 ounces cold water If you would like more "potent" shots, you can amend the recipe a bit. This variation makes 6 large cups with 2oz (2x"shots") of alcohol each, or 12 small cups with 1oz of alcohol each, yet still sets hard and tastes great. Whether a person is conservative or liberal, young or old, male or female the message is the same. No matter where they live, how much money they have, education, social status, you name it, most people agree. Albeit for different reasons, people are becoming more environmentally aware. "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" is becoming a common household and business phrase. These three "R"s will help to save the planet but there is an added benefit to your home business. When we started applying these to our home business we achieve amazing results. With regard to paper, we print or copy only what is absolutely necessary and then we use both sides of the paper. We provide our customers electronic information and only supply paper copies when requested (and may even charge a fee for this). We reuse paper that we receive that is only printed on one side, for notes or message taking. When we do buy paper, it is 100% recycled for only about one dollar more per ream. We recycle our paper and printer cartridges as well. Because of all these things, we contribute less to landfills and to destruction of forests and very importantly, our costs for paper and printer ink is way down. We have seen no negative consequences by taking all these steps. To save electricity, we have replaced our light bulbs with florescent ones. They cost more initially, but our electricity costs are reduced and they last six times longer. We have a power bar on all of our electronic equipment and we turn the power bar off at night or when they otherwise won't be used for an extended period of time. This saves electric costs and I personally like the idea of having my internet modem and wireless network unavailable to hackers when I'm not using the equipment. To save on heating and cooling, we have accepted that the temperature may not be ideal and that we can change what we are wearing (great benefit of a home business!) to become more comfortable. So the temperature range set on our thermostat is set a bit higher or lower than we used to depending on the season. Our utilities bills continually show that we use less power or natural gas than in the same month of the preceding year and this is our goal. There is more that can be done but these simple steps described here will: 1. Help you save money on paper, ink, electricity and natural gas, 2. Impress your customers if you advertise that you are environmentally friendly, 3. Contribute less to landfills, and 4. Help to preserve the environment for future generations. Efficient and effective use of resources should be a goal of every business. It does not cost more money to be environmentally friendly, contrary to popular belief. If we focus on efficient and effective use of nature's resources then the result has to be a positive one. One person and one business can make a difference, one person and one business at a time.

Nice is in the south of France. The Queen of the French Riviera, which the French call " la Cote d'Azur" (AzureCoast or Blue Coast). It is a wonderful city with lots of charm and character; a mixture of French and Italian cultures where the people are easy-going and friendly even if you don't speak French. Although you might think it is a summer resort, you can visit Nice at any time of the year and still have a good time. If you happen to go in the winter, you will be surprised to see flowers in their numerous parks and gardens. Nice has a Mediterranean winter, so the temperature stays around 40 to 50 degrees during the coldest months but if you like skiing, ski resorts such as Valberg and Isola 2000 can be reached by car in one or two hours. If you go in the summer, get ready to share the city with lots of tourists. The popular streets where most restaurants and cafes are, can get crowded, but they can be a lot of fun if you enjoy people watching; and since most of the streets are closed to traffic, it is not hard to just walk around and enjoy the upbeat atmosphere. Nice has a major airport and its close location to the city makes getting there a cinch. Finding a hotel should be easy, since there are plenty of accommodations for all kinds of budgets. The author is a frequent guest of the Meridien Hotel, a 4 star hotel located on the Promenade des Anglais, facing the Bay of Angels (Baie des Anges). -Things to see in Nice: -Promenade des Anglais. The Victorian English residents of the 1800's provided the funds to build the beautiful boulevard, hence its name. It is a wide avenue that follows the bay's coast line and it's lined with beautiful palm trees and flowers. -Hotel Negresco. Beautiful and glamorous, it is located at 37 Promenade des Anglais and if you are not rich enough to stay there, you must go and see it. -Old Nice. Winding narrow streets with Italianate buildings painted in earthly colors, describes this old part of the city. You will enjoy strolling. people watching and quaint little shops full of charming provencal crafts. -Marche aux Fleurs. Located on the Cours Saleya, the flower market is Open Tuesday through Sunday, 7am-5pm, but if you decide to go, check with your hotel for the hours of operation. You can also have lunch or dinner there, where a large variety of restaurants set up tables and chairs outside where you can dine in a pleasant and fun atmosphere. -Marc Chagall Museum. If you like modern art, you can catch a glimpse of the painter's most important collection. The hours of operation vary depending on the season so check with your hotel clerk before you go. Nice is so well located that you can take half-day and full-day trips either by car or by public transportation. Easily reached towns by car or public transportation are: Monaco, Eze, Grasse, St Paul de Vence, Cannes and St Tropez. -Monaco - A symbol of glamour and elegance, Monaco sits on a beautiful stretch of the Mediterranean coast. Its most famous town Monte Carlo, has much to offer with its casinos, boutiques and exotic gardens. Don't forget to visit the village of Monaco, located high on "the rock" as it is affectionally called by the locals. It is a charming town with shops and cafes and a wonderful view of the sea. -Eze - This small medieval village perched on a hill is a must see. Both tourists and artists flock to Eze during the summer months because of its picturesque setting and magnificent vues. If you are staying in Nice, you can make it a half-day trip or just stop there for lunch and continue to Monaco for a full-day trip. If you are feeling rich, have lunch at the Chevre d'Or. The restaurant offers fine cuisine and breathtaking panoramas. The restaurant is only open for lunch. -Grasse - Considered the perfume capital of France Grasse is a small hilly town with beautiful parks and panoramic views. I you go to Grasse, you must visit the perfume factories. The biggest is Parfumerie Fragonard. An English speaking guide will show you the process of extracting the perfume from hundreds of pounds of flower petals. -St Paul de Vence - A picture perfect medieval town, sitting on top of a hill, St Paul de Vence has been painted by many artists and photographed by thousands of tourists. It is located 19 miles from Nice. Enjoy a meal at the famous Colombe d'Or Restaurant or sip a beer at an outdoor cafe while watching a local game of petanque. -Cannes - Cannes sits on the shores of La Napoule bay, sorrounded by a backdrop of Mediterranean hills. While Nice has the Promenade des Anglais, Cannes has la Croisette Boulevard, an elegant promenade, lined with palm trees and and gardens. Cannes hosts the famous Cannes Film Festival every year and it is most favored by celebrities. He knows how to adapt the right personality, attitude, and mindset to date beautiful women. Here are some reasons why he can get the girl why you cant. Reason #1: He doesn't believe he needs to be good looking The ugly guy doesn't believe that women will ever like him for his good looks. He knows that he needs to master other skills. He shows her that he is exciting and fun to be around. He has great social skills. This impresses her friends and her family. I know I'm really harping on foundation and self-awareness a lot here, but it's because it's so crucial and is really a "deal breaker". You need to master your inner game to truly succeed.

At one time, borrowing money from the bank would have involved getting out the best suit and grovelling to the manager. These days, banks ring customers at home and ask them if they want to take out a loan. In fact, they almost give you hard time if you’re not borrowing. Just as it’s never been easier it’s also never been quicker. You can pick up the phone and arrange to borrow money as quickly as you could book a table at a restaurant. About two-thirds of the way up, somewhere between a credit card and a mortgage, is the personal loan. A credit card these days means being able to buy that must have dress or CD before pay day, but more expensive single expenses, such as buying a car, paying for a wedding or doing up a house, it’s the personal loan that has taken over. While credit card borrowing fell by Ј300 million in mid 2006, net lending on personal loans and overdrafts rose by almost three times the amount seen in June, the latest statistics from the British Bankers' Association (BBA) show. New credit card borrowing reached a four-year low reaching Ј7 billion, while personal loans and overdrafts grew in popularity, up to a net lending of Ј655 million. Director of statistics at BBA, said that despite the decline in mortgage lending, other means of borrowing of becoming more popular and convenient. "Unsecured lending is displaying quite a different trend, with the growth rate continuing to decline, largely reflecting the ongoing contraction in credit card borrowing,” the director said. In April, Moneyfacts said that while credit card transfers can offer cheaper rates than personal loans, people lacking discipline with their repayments could benefit from the structure a personal loan provides. However, new research from uSwitch seems to indicate that the less you borrow on a personal loan in the UK, the more likely you are to be paying interest rates that are higher than the lender’s advertised Annual Percentage Rate (APR). The major lenders all apply penalties when borrowers look to repay early. Paying the loan early will automatically trigger a charge of Ј175. But the charges don't end thereplicated small print explains that borrowers are tied into the loan for eight years. Loans can run for as long as 25 years given the amounts involved. But if you want to repay your loan within three years you will have to pay six months' worth of interest on the outstanding amount. Given that some customers are paying as much as three to four times the going market rate for loans of higher amounts it is estimated that more than half a million Brits who took out banks loans of less than Ј5,000 in the last year are paying too much. There may now be a very valid and justified complainant that they’re being unfairly hit by this policy of applying different interest rates depending on how much is being borrowed. Nonetheless, UK loans do still remain one of the cheapest possible ways for Brits to borrow large sums of money (over Ј5,000) and so the costs of funding for small loans (under Ј5,000) by UK banks should be viewed with caution. Shop around for the cheapest personal loan possible is also the advice of the head of personal finance at uSwitch, who notes that interest rates do remain highly uncompetitive on small loan amounts in the UK. A low hand is more complicated, but really opens up the action. When figuring out a low hand, straights and flushes do not count. Women fear they ll have little gold in their golden years

Nearly 40 percent of women aged 30 to 55 are worried about spending their retirement years at or near the poverty level because they cannot adequately save for retirement, according to a recent survey. The National Women's 2005 Retirement Survey found that women of color are most concerned about their ability to save for retirement. While 53 percent of women of color report that they expect to live at or near the poverty level in their retirement years, just 33 percent of all men expect to face the same dilemma. The survey was commissioned by the Heinz Family Philanthropies under the direction of Teresa Heinz, founder of the Women's Institute for a Secure Retirement and chairman of the Heinz Family Philanthropies. Here are some of the survey's other key findings. * Fifty-two percent of women expect to continue to work once they reach retirement age, including 57 percent of Hispanic women. * Fifty-four percent of women have little to no money left to save for retirement once they pay their bills, rising to 62 percent among Hispanic and African-American women. * When asked, "At the present time, do you feel that you are saving enough money for your retirement?" 62 percent of the women surveyed answered "no." Among women of color, 74 percent of African-American and Hispanic women said they are not saving enough. * When asked about barriers to saving for retirement, African-American women are more than twice as likely as white women to cite "financial responsibility for adult children or grandchildren" as a reason for not saving for retirement. Of the African-American women supporting their adult children or grandchildren, 63 percent report spending between $100 and $1,000 on them each month. The Heinz Family Philanthropies commissioned this survey with the Christie Foundation, the Barbara Lee Foundation and others to identify the critical retirement savings issues facing women and to use the data to develop ways to help women secure their financial futures.
